A Simple Weekly Habit for Looking After Your Team

Make time for questions, useful explanations and the members who are learning to help others.

As a team grows, questions can arrive from several directions at once. I would set aside a regular time each week to look at how the people I directly invited are getting on. A small habit is easier to keep than responding to everything at the last moment.

Start with what has changed. Has a newcomer understood the basic steps? Is someone waiting for an answer? Has a member begun helping their own first referral? These questions tell you where your attention can make a practical difference.

A few brief notes can help you remember. Record the question, the help the person requested, and any follow-up you agreed on. Keep their account access with them. You can explain an instruction while they use their own account.

Watch for questions that come up more than once. If several people are confused about the same activity, prepare one clear explanation using its current terms. Share it with the members who need it and check whether it answers their question.

Give some attention to the members who are already teaching others. Ask what their newcomers find difficult. Help them explain the answer in their own words, then let them lead the next conversation. Their confidence can grow with practice.

Team members should know where to find reliable instructions and when a question needs platform support. Make it easy to ask for clarification, especially when a rule or an account record needs checking.

At the end of the week, ask whether the help was useful. A growing team needs people who understand what they are doing and can support the next person. Follow the questions they can now answer and the steps they can handle independently.

Choose one time for your next team check-in. Begin with the people you invited directly and ask each person one simple question about their next step.
