Helping a New Member Find Their Feet

Help someone find the instructions, try the steps and learn where to ask for support.

Once someone joins, they may have several questions at the same time. Where should they begin? Which instructions apply to their account? What should they do when a step is unclear? A little patient guidance can make that first session easier.

I would start by opening the current beginner information together. Read the basic requirements and look at the instructions for the activity the new member wants to understand. Give them time to stop and ask about unfamiliar words.

Then help them find the official task instructions and the appropriate support route. They should know where to return when they need an answer later. Save a helpful guide if that makes it easier to find again.

Let the new member carry out each action in their own account. You can explain the next step and wait while they complete it. This helps them learn the process and gives you a chance to see which part needs a clearer explanation.

If a question involves a deposit, a withdrawal or a reward condition, go back to the relevant current instructions. Contact the platform's support team when the answer needs confirmation. Give the person time to understand any financial step before deciding how to proceed.

After one part of the process is complete, ask them to explain it back in their own words. You might ask where they would look for task guidance tomorrow, or who they would contact if they needed help.

A short follow-up can be useful once they have tried the process themselves. Ask what felt clear and where they got stuck. Their answer tells you what to explain next and can improve the way you help another newcomer.

Before you finish, make sure the new member can find one useful guide and one appropriate support contact on their own.
